Tomorrow, Mission San Juan Capistrano presents one of the most enjoyable events in Orange County, the Ninth Annual Battle of the Mariachis from 11 AM to 4 PM in the Mission Courtyard. Steeped in history and heritage, we can’t think of a more appropriate event for the Mission to host. Anyone who attended last year’s Battle of the Mariachis will recall that the weather was perfect, the food was delicious and the music was outstanding. There isn’t a bad seat in the house, and the event is family-friendly. Spectacular mariachi music being played by talented young artists with our beloved Mission as a backdrop, we can’t think of a better way to spend an afternoon!
