In order to minimize impacts to the traveling public, Caltrans has announced that the Ortega bridge lane reduction (that we had previously warned you about here) has been pushed back one week and is now scheduled to start during the week of May 27. As a reminder, during this stage of construction, Caltrans will reduce the number of lanes on Ortega over I-5 to two in each direction. These lane reductions will last for approximately one year as construction crews re-build the south half of the Ortega bridge. Good luck!
