Adventure Day at Caspers

A host of organizations are gathering at Caspers Wilderness Park for a wildflower themed Adventure Day this Saturday, April 14 from 10 AM – 4 PM.  Adventure Day is free to the public.  The event will feature music by the Live Oak Revue, and a host of activities for visitors of all ages, including guided hikes, expert speakers, hiking and camping clinics, arts and crafts, games, exhibits and raffles.  Food trucks will be on site to provide food and beverages.  In the event of rain, the makeup date will be May 12.

Participants include: OC Zoo, OC Public Libraries, Wagon Wheel Natural History Association, Caspers Park Foundation, OC Hiking Club, Inside the Outdoors, Sea & Sage Audubon Society, Donna O’Neill Land Conservancy, and the Boy and Girl Scouts.  More information is available here.
