“Bad to the Bone”

In anticipation of this weekend’s Doheny Blues Festival, please enjoy this classic video from Sunday’s headliners, George Thorogood and the Destroyers – “Bad to the Bone.”

To those of us who came of age with the birth of MTV, this video was a staple during the early 1980s.  Equal parts macho and camp, it features Thorogood, cheered on by a pack of children, defeat Bo Diddley in a high stakes game of pool as famous billiards player Willie Mosconi looks on.  We hope he plays it Sunday night on the big stage!

Enjoy the Doheny Blues Festival!  And if you are looking for a bite to eat between sets, may we suggest this as the appropriate (and delicious) choice?
