San Juan Hotel and Villa Backers Holding Info Session This Friday

Do you have questions about the proposed hotel and townhome development being considered for downtown San Juan Capistrano.  Proponents of the development will provide information and answer questions this Friday, August 1st at the Mission Grill (across from the Mission) all day between 8 AM and 8 PM.  We’ve discussed the proposed “San Juan Hotel and Villas” project in this previous article.  A rendering of the project is below:

If approved, the “San Juan Hotel & Villas” will be built on a little over 3 acres near the Judge Egan House and the Esslinger Building, and adjacent to Historic Town Center Park.   The San Juan Hotel and Villas is a $43 million project that when complete will feature a 136 room, three story hotel attached to 33 townhome units.  The complex will also include 2,700 feet of commercial retail and a restaurant.
