Ladera Ranch Civic Council Launches New Website; Includes Local Governance Page

This must have been the week for website re-launches.  Today, the Ladera Ranch Civic Council launched a redesigned website, available at lrciviccouncil.org.  Although the changes are largely aesthetic (and some sections remain under construction), we noticed a page dedicated to something called Imagine Ladera.  What is Imagine Ladera?  It seems to be the home of the Civic Council’s local governance working group.  The page describes the effort as follows:

Imagine Ladera is a collaborative community outreach effort designed to showcase the community’s vision for the future of Ladera Ranch.  The Civic Council is working with key decision-makers at the County and the Local Agency Formation Commission (“LAFCO”) to help build a path toward local governance.

At this time, Imagine Ladera has three components:

  • the Ladera Ranch Civic Council Local Governance Task Force
  • an invitation for residents to attend Civic Council meetings and opine on the future of Ladera Ranch
  • an upcoming community survey

This strikes us as a useful page and we hope it will be supplemented and kept current with additional news and information about Ladera Ranch local governance issues.
