State of South County: Transportation, Public Safety and Economic Development

Sponsored jointly by the Chambers of Commerce of Dana Point, Laguna Niguel, San Clemente and San Juan Capistrano, the 2014 State of South County networking luncheon will feature a speech from Fifth District Supervisor Patricia Bates.   In addition to Supervisor Bates’ keynote speech, the lunch event will also feature three panelists discussing the ”Three Pillars of Quality of Life” in South Orange County, namely transportation, public safety and economic development.  The three guests include:

  • Lucy Dunn, President of the Orange County Business Council, Transportation  
  • Sandra Hutchens, Orange County Sheriff-Coroner, Public Safety  
  • Tod Burnett, President of Saddleback Community College, Economic Development 


The event is scheduled for Friday May 16, 2014 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, and will be held at the Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort and Spa in Dana Point.  Tickets are available here.
