Registration Now Open for Dana Point Grand Prix Kids Bike Races

Registration is now open for the free youth bicycle races, part of the Dana Point Grand Prix of Cycling.  From the organizer’s web site:

The Dana Point Grand Prix is again proud to highlight the FREE Youth Races, sponsored by the Dana Point Community Cycling Foundation. The Youth Races are an opportunity for families and kids to learn about the healthy, safe, and fun aspects of cycling. We believe competitive cycling is a positive tool helping to educate the community the important factors of ensuring our precious children are taught the fundamentals of safe cycling and the benefits of a healthy, FUN and productive lifestyle.

As a reminder, the Dana Point Grand Prix of Cycling is one of Orange County’s premier cycling events.  This year the criterium will be held on May 4, 2014.  The race series includes races for professionals, recreational cyclists and kids.  More information on the Grand Prix is available below or here:
