Visit the Reserve at Rancho Mission Viejo During April

As Spring arrives, we encourage you to take the opportunity to explore the abundant natural spaces that surround South Orange County.  The Reserve at Rancho Mission Viejo is generally not open to the public, but several times per month you have the opportunity to visit these areas.  Below is the Reserve’s calendar of public events for April:

April 5                              Adventure Day, Caspers Park (10:00 AM – 3:00 PM)

April 6                              Bird Walk to Horno Basin (8:00 – 10:00 AM)

April 7                              Monday Trail Clearing and Weeding with Staff (7:30 – 9:30 AM)

April 9                              Lecture: Snakes 101 (7:00 – 8:30 PM)

April 12                           Saturday Trail Clearing and Weeding (8:00 – 11:30 AM)

April 13                           CNPS Spring Plant Hike (8:00-11:00 AM)

April 26                           Butterfly Walk (9:00-11:30 AM)

April 26                           Astronomy Night (8:15 – 10:15 PM)

Reservations are generally required, and participants typically must be at least eight years old (although it varies by event).  More information about events on the Reserve is available here.
