Meritage Home in Sendero Listed on MLS

Home builders are reluctant to list their new home inventory on the MLS.  It generally (although not always) means that phases are not selling as fast as the homes are being built.  One of the Meritage homes just hit the market.  The listing history shows it as having been for sale last year, but we don’t remember seeing it.  Regardless, it’s back with a price reduction at $929,930:

37 Vivido Street

From the description:

Among the amenities planned for all Sendero residents are a centrally located community hall, clubhouse and recreational core with community pool, a 15 acre community park, neighborhood pocket parks, hiking/biking trails along the Reserve and County Regional trails network, a 10 acre retail plaza, a fire state and nearby child care center. Every home we build comes standard with incredibly energy-efficient homes that let you spend your money on better things than utility bills like Spray Foam Insulation, ENERGY STAR Appliances, ENERGY STAR programmable thermostat, Low E3 Vinyl Windows, SEER 14 HVAC, CFL Lighting and Fixtures, Weather Sensing Irrigation, Water Efficient Plumbing Fixtures and much more. This home is the perfect place for gatherings featuring an additional bedroom, large great room, loggia with fireplace and upgraded 48″ stainless steel Pro cook top with double ovens. All on a private cul-de-sac homesite. Visit this NEW home today!

This home is in the market rate section (not age-qualified Gavilan), and is listed as having 5 bedrooms, 4.5 baths and 2,996 square feet of living space on a 5,719 square foot cul-de-sac lot.  The Meritage homes are among the largest in Sendero.  You can see the location of the Meritage tract and 37 Vivido Street in the map below:

37 Vivido looks like a great location on the back (quiet) side of Sendero, with easy access to the parks and open space.  Let’s see how long it takes for this one to get into escrow.  We’ll set the over/under at 21 days.
