I-5/Ortega Interchange Construction Update for the Week of October 14

Courtesy of our friends at Caltrans, below are the scheduled reductions and closures for the week of October 14:

Lane Reductions:

Lane reduction on the northbound I-5 freeway between Camino Capistrano and Jenipero Serra Road

Lane closures nightly, Sunday, 10/13 through Thursday, 10/17 between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.

Lane reduction on the southbound I-5 freeway between Junipero Serra Road and Camino Capistrano

Lane closures nightly, Sunday, 10/13 through Thursday, 10/17 between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.

Ramp Lane Reductions:

Northbound I-5 on-ramp from Ortega Highway (SR-74) closed

Ramp lane reduction nightly, Sunday, 10/13 through Thursday, 10/19 between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.

Northbound I-5 off-ramp to Ortega Highway (SR-74) closed

Ramp lane reduction nightly, Sunday, 10/13 through Thursday, 10/19 between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.

Southbound I-5 on-ramp from Ortega Highway (SR-74) closed

Ramp lane reduction nightly, Sunday, 10/13 through Thursday, 10/19 between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.

Southbound I-5 off-ramp to Ortega Highway (SR-74) closed

Ramp lane reduction nightly, Sunday, 10/13 through Thursday, 10/19 between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.

Meanwhile, crews continue to work on re-construction of the south half of the Ortega bridge.
