Another Full Closure of NB I-5 to NB 133 Connector

OK, the first full closure could have been caused by anything.  But the second full closure of this interchange in a week?  We’re starting to wonder if there isn’t something more going on here.  Caltrans, what’s going on? The full Caltrans announcement is below:

FULL CLOSURE NOTICE: Tomorrow from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Caltrans will perform a FULL CLOSURE of the northbound I-5 to northbound SR 133 connector for a geotechnical investigation on the connector ramp. Northbound I-5 traffic wishing to use the northbound SR 133 will be detoured past the closed connector to exit at Jeffrey Road, left on Jeffrey Road to Walnut Avenue, left on Walnut Avenue and back onto the southbound I- 5 to northbound SR 133. Our apologies for any inconvenience!
