We haven’t focused a lot on the Outpost — the portion of Sendero that lies east of Antonio Parkway. That’s not intentional. The Outpost is not a copy of “mainland” Sendero banished to the opposite side of a six lane parkway. Rather, it is a unique concept implemented in a location that allows it to stand on its own. Living at the Outpost seems to best capture the “resort living” concept that is overused in real estate, but seldom true. The Outpost does feel like you’re living at a resort hotel. Consider some of the Outpost’s amenities:
- Clubhouse (with special event room)
- Hammock garden
- Outdoor dining tables and BBQ area
- Outdoor “key west” style bar
- Resort pool and spa with cabanas
- Bocce courts — we’re not surprised!
- Fire pits
- Outdoor movie screen
If you want to live at the Outpost, you need to look at the Lyon Villa and Cabana townhomes. With smaller floor plans, townhome living and some of the lowest prices in the development, these units are going to attract a different clientele than the rest of Sendero.
