Congratulations, Martin Henderson!

Congratulations to the Editor of the Rancho Santa Margarita and Lake Forest Patch online newspapers.  Henderson won “Online Journalist of the Year” at the 55th Annual Southern California Journalism Awards and Centennial Celebration, presented by the Los Angeles Press Club.  That’s quite an accomplishment.  Article here.

With the arrival of the great orange paywall, local Patch community news sites serve as the only local news sources for many Orange County residents.  We read a number of Patches daily, including Henderson’s.  In addition to Henderson, we also appreciate the work of Peter Schelden in Mission Viejo, Penny Arevalo in San Juan Capistrano and San Clemente and Rich Kane in Laguna Niguel and Dana Point.  (Why isn’t there a Ladera Ranch Patch?)

Keep up the good work, South County Patches!  And congratulations again, Martin!
