I-5/Ortega Highway Construction Project to Begin Tomorrow

The Patch is reporting that the I-5/Ortega Highway interchange project will officially kick off tomorrow in the form of a Caltrans notification of the first ramp closures.  According to the article:

The alert — an email blast to those who have asked to be put on a contact list — will inform residents and other interested parties that the first ramp closures will take place next week.

Don’t worry!  These first closures will be confined to the middle of the night and for the purposes of installing traffic flow devices called K-rails on the on- and off-ramps at Ortega.  The major road closures that everyone has been talking about are not supposed to occur until early June.
