Easier mobility in San Juan’s future
By John Taylor, Guest Columnist
The city of San Juan Capistrano is starting the new year with a host of transportation improvements that will bring ease of mobility in and around the city. With these improvements, communication and sharing of ideas are essential to ensuring the least disruption for our community. … Addressing the ease of mobility in and around San Juan Capistrano is the focus, and during this construction period no doubt there will be interruptions and frustrations. I ask that you share your ideas with the city and our regional partners so that we can make this work for our community. I invite you to use the Caltrans website, dot.ca.gov/dist12, to plan your days and minimize interruptions. … I think San Juan Capistrano will retain its historic treasures. My vision is the downtown will be more pedestrian friendly. I see it remaining itself, peaceful and beautiful – just a little more user friendly.
Read the whole letter at the Register. Mayor Taylor believes in the importance of economic vitality to San Juan Capistrano and has committed to do everything within his power to assist community businesses during the upcoming construction.
